Wear pink this September 27, 2009 during the Susan Komen race. In addition, wear pink on your fingers and toes, the whole month of October in honor of the Susan Komen foundation. The Susan Komen race will be in Fashion Island in Newport Beach. Over 30,000 people, among them 2,500 who are cancer survivors will be attending. You can run or walk with one mile walk or 5K walk/run. This is a family event, so bring everybody, and help raise funds to fight cancer. 75% of the funds raised during the Susan Komen race will be distributed to local community projects where breast screening and health education is fundamental. Essie nail polish made a pink color "yes, we can", for the Susan Komen, which part of the proceeds will be donated to the foundation.
